Christmas Presents: Cabled Fingerless Gloves

Right around Thanksgiving, my sister saw a picture of the green gloves I had just finished a couple of weeks before. She had mentioned that she REALLY liked them and that she wanted a pair in gray. So I took that bit of information and got to work.

I had one finished and one almost finished by the time Christmas came. So I wrapped the one and promised her I would finish the pair before the night was over.

I was able to finish them and give them to her completed!!

Here are some black and white photos!!

There you have it, another present that I was able to make for a Christmas present!! (Sorry I am alittle behind on posts, hopefully I will get all caught up soon!!)

Cabled Finger~Free Gloves

I have finally made something with CABLES.... I thought they were going to be so hard, and that is why I never tried it before now. But...

I tried it and it was....

SO easy!!

And the best part is it LOOKS hard but it is only a matter of switching stitches.

Love this photo!! :)
If you are a knitter and haven't tried cables, I would encourage yo to do so!! It is fun, easy and makes any project look complicated. As you can see I had fun taking pictures with my new fingerless gloves. They will keep my hands nice and warm this fall and winter season!! :) ~RebeccA.
